Job summary

Metro North Health's Perioperative Unit at Caboolture Hospital is seeking an experienced perioperative nurse to deliver high-quality anaesthetic nursing care across elective and emergency surgery. Join a busy perioperative team delivering high quality anaesthetic nursing care across elective and emergency surgical services.

About the role

Join the Perioperative Unit at Caboolture Hospital and become part of a highly skilled team delivering surgical care across a range of specialties including General Surgery, Gynaecology, Obstetrics, ENT and Dental Surgery. This role offers the opportunity to work in a fast-paced perioperative environment where your clinical expertise will directly contribute to safe, efficient and patient-centred care.

Working across the Operating Theatres and Post Anaesthetic Care Unit, you will deliver evidence-based nursing care while collaborating with anaesthetists, surgeons, nursing staff and allied health professionals to support positive patient outcomes. The position also provides opportunities to further develop specialist perioperative nursing skills, participate in quality improvement initiatives and contribute to a culture of continuous learning and clinical excellence.
