Job summary

The Bathurst Health Service, part of NSW Health, seeks a Permanent Part Time / Temporary Part Time Registered Nurse to join the Ambulatory Care Unit in Bathurst, NSW. The role includes delivering nursing care, supervising other nurses and support staff, and contributing to safe, high-quality patient pathways.

You will work up to 28 hours per week in a multidisciplinary team and participate in care planning and referral management to support rural communities.

Qualifications

• Current Australian nursing registration (RN).
• Experience in ambulatory/outpatient settings preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide nursing care in the Ambulatory Care Unit to patients/clients in the health service.
• Lead, direct and supervise other nurses and care staff within the team.

About the role

As a Registered Nurse in the Ambulatory Care Unit you are an integral part of the multidisciplinary healthcare team providing nursing care to patients/clients of the health service and leading, directing and supervising other nurses and care roles in the team, such as Enrolled Nurses, Assistants in Nursing and Student Registered Nurses to support quality care for patients/clients
