Job summary

Opal HealthCare is seeking a Registered Nurse to provide high-quality clinical care across Adelaide and surrounding suburbs. You will support residents with complex needs and work with families, doctors and the care team to ensure safe, compassionate care plans and medication practices.

Qualifications

• Current registration as a Registered Nurse with AHPRA.
• Strong clinical assessment, care planning and medication management skills.
• Excellent communication, documentation and relationship-building skills.
• Calm, respectful and compassionate approach to resident care.

Responsibilities

• Deliver person-centred care to residents in line with individual care plans.
• Complete clinical assessments, monitor health changes and escalate concerns.
• Administer and manage medications safely and accurately.
• Provide wound care, pain management, dementia support and chronic disease management.
• Maintain accurate clinical documentation and contribute to care planning reviews.
• Mentor and provide clinical guidance to care workers and enrolled nurses.
• Communicate professionally with residents, families and health professionals.
• Promote resident dignity, independence, safety and quality of life.
