Job summary

Quirindi Care Services, proudly part of the Apollo Care Alliance, is recruiting a Registered Nurse to oversee care plans, assess residents, and lead a team of care staff. You will work closely with medical and allied health colleagues to deliver high-quality, resident-centred care.

The role requires AHPRA registration and NDIS clearance, with a focus on upholding the Aged Care Quality Standards and a compassionate approach to residents and families.

Qualifications

• Registered Nurse qualification and AHPRA registration.
• Minimum 2 years of experience in a residential aged care setting.
• NDIS Worker Clearance – mandatory.
• Strong understanding of Aged Care Quality Standards and resident-first care.
• Understanding of the Serious Incident Response Scheme (SIRS).
• Passion for person-centred care.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Compassionate and empathetic in approach.

Responsibilities

• Provide resident-centred care in line with care plans and preferences.
• Conduct assessments and develop care plans with residents.
• Supervise and mentor personal care staff for safe care delivery.
• Manage clinical procedures within scope and policies.
• Ensure compliance with Aged Care Quality Standards and safety rules.
• Liaise with medical and allied health professionals for seamless care.
