Job summary

Ozcare is hiring a Registered Nurse to join our Douglas Aged Care Facility. You will coordinate client care, assess needs, develop individualised care plans and support the clinical management team with AN-ACC documentation and comprehensive assessments.

The role also involves supervising Care Assistants, liaising with clients and families, and working with a multidisciplinary team to achieve positive client outcomes in a supportive, compassionate environment.

Qualifications

• Current registration with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA).
• CPR certificate current and valid.
• National Police Check within past 3 years.
• Vaccination against Influenza and at least 1 dose of Covid-19 vaccine.
• Sound clinical knowledge and good computer/mobile device skills.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate client care needs, including assessment, case management and developing individualised Care Plans.
• Assist with AN-ACC documentation and comprehensive assessments.
• Provide supervision of Care Assistants.
• Liaise with clients, families and multidisciplinary team to achieve positive outcomes.
