Job summary

Arcare is seeking a Registered Nurse to provide high-quality, person-centred care across our NSW aged care residence. You will deliver health assessments, monitor vital signs, administer medications, and support residents within Arcare’s values and policies.

You must have current AHPRA registration and knowledge of aged care accreditation standards. The role offers security in a growing organisation, with above-award rates and supportive leadership in a modern facility.

Qualifications

• Current AHPRA Registration (essential).
• Sound knowledge of Aged Care Accreditation Standards.

Responsibilities

• Clinical Care: Deliver high-quality nursing care, including health assessments, monitoring vital signs, and medication management.
• Wound Management: Assess, treat, and manage wounds while preventing infection.
• Care Planning: Develop and implement individualised care plans tailored to residents’ needs.
• Assessment & Documentation: Maintain accurate clinical records and document changes using eCase.
• Pain Management: Identify and address pain concerns using appropriate strategies.
• Emergency Response: Respond effectively to medical emergencies.
• End-of-Life Care: Provide compassionate palliative and end-of-life support.
