Job summary

Churches of Christ Gracehaven Aged Care Service in Bundaberg, QLD is seeking a compassionate Registered Nurse to deliver safe, person-centred clinical care. You’ll work in a warm, supportive team with an on-site Care Coordinator and Facility Manager, providing quality aged care and mentoring team members.

You’ll be available for Afternoon and Night Shifts, with opportunities for professional growth in a values-driven not-for-profit environment.

Qualifications

• Current AHPRA registration as a Registered Nurse.
• Skilled in medication management, wound care, resident assessments and updating care plans.
• National Police Check (or willingness to obtain).
• NDIS Worker Screening Card.
• Full working rights in Australia (no sponsorship).
• First Aid and CPR certification.

About the Opportunity

As a Registered Nurse with Churches of Christ Gracehaven Aged Care Service, you'll play an important role in delivering safe, person‑centred clinical care. You’ll care for residents with professionalism and heart, knowing the comfort you provide truly matters.

You’ll be a valued member of our close‑knit team, delivering high‑quality clinical care in a warm and supportive environment. You’ll be supported by an on‑site Care Coordinator and a Facility Manager with strong clinical expertise, ensuring guidance and leadership are always available.

What you'll be responsible for

• Administering medications and maintaining accurate clinical documentation
• Conducting baseline and focused assessments
• Reviewing and updating care plans to ensure person‑centred care delivery.
• Leading and mentoring team members
• Working with residents, families, and healthcare professionals to deliver quality care.

About you

You are a compassionate Registered Nurse who builds positive relationships with residents, families, and colleagues. You are committed to quality care, you are available for Afternoon and Night Shifts and you enjoy working in a supportive team environment.

You’ll ideally bring:

• Current AHPRA registration as a Registered Nurse
• Skilled in medication management, wound care, resident assessments and updating care plans
• Previous aged care experience is desirable
• Current First Aid, CPR Certificate
• National Police Check (or willingness to obtain)
• NDIS Worker Screening Card
• Full working rights in Australia (we are unable to sponsor at this time)
