The Benevolent Society is seeking a Registered Nurse to provide in-home clinical support to older people across Western Sydney, including Penrith and surrounding suburbs. You will work in a supportive, client-focused team delivering high-quality nursing care in the home.
You will perform wound care, medication administration, pain and health assessments, and develop holistic care plans to support wellness and independence while travelling within the service area.
At The Benevolent Society, we believe every person deserves to live life on their own terms, with dignity, respect and a sense of belonging. For over two centuries, this belief has shaped who we are and how we work.
We’re working towards a just society where everyone feels valued, safe and included. As a not for profit, independent and non religious organisation, we proudly embrace diversity and are deeply committed to reconciliation. We welcome people from all backgrounds, identities and experiences to join us in creating positive change.
As our community-based Registered Nurse, you’ll support older people across Western Sydney to maintain their health, independence and quality of life while living safely at home.
You’ll deliver warm, person-centred clinical care, taking a proactive approach to assessment, intervention and ongoing client support. Working closely with multidisciplinary teams, you’ll identify risks early, respond to changing clinical needs and deliver high-quality nursing care that promotes dignity, safety and wellbeing.
We support people to live their best life. That includes you, our employee. A ‘best life’ is unique to everyone and can change as life changes:
If you identify as Aboriginal and/or Torres Strait Islander peoples, then we want to hear from you. The Benevolent Society recognises and values cultural knowledge and wisdom of Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander communities, we therefore strongly encourage you to apply. We are strongly committed to being an Employer of Choice, one who offers, provides, and practices cultural safety in our workplace.
