Job summary

Gordon and Bell Street Medical Centre in Coburg VIC is seeking an experienced Registered Nurse to provide expert care and education in a General Practice setting. You will support GPs in treatment room procedures, administer immunisations, assist with wound care, health assessments, chronic disease management, and care coordination.

Applicants must hold an AHPRA RN registration and have at least 6 months of general practice nursing experience, with strong communication and organisational skills.

Qualifications

• Current AHPRA registration as a Registered Nurse.
• At least 6 months experience in general practice nursing.
• Strong communication and organisational skills.
• Experience with Best Practice software and digital systems.

Responsibilities

• Supporting GPs with treatment room procedures and patient care.
• Providing immunisations and other nursing services within your scope of practice.
• Assisting with wound care, health assessments and chronic disease management.
• Supporting recalls, follow-up and care coordination.
• Maintaining accurate patient records and completing related administrative tasks.
• Following infection prevention, cold chain and workplace safety procedures.
• Helping keep the treatment room organised, stocked and running smoothly.
• Working collaboratively with doctors, nurses and reception staff.
• Experience with Best Practice and software platforms such as HotDoc, (an advantage).

About the role:

This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced nurse to provide expert care and build their skills in a General Practice where all staff are supported in their learning and development. We are seeking a bright, enthusiastic, and dynamic RN who is passionate about patient education and has excellent communication skills.

About you

• A flexible, practical approach and the ability to manage a varied workload
• A collaborative attitude and genuine interest in being part of a supportive team

An hourly rate of $35-$40, depending on experience

Regular full time work shifts, from Monday to Sunday
