Job summary

Bolton Clarke Baycrest, one of Australia’s leading not-for-profit aged care providers, is seeking a Registered Nurse to deliver clinical care to residents in a friendly, secure environment near Hervey Bay.

You will monitor residents, collaborate with the health care team, and contribute to a supportive culture with strong clinical and allied health support. AHPRA registration and 12 months RN experience are desirable for success.

Qualifications

• AHPRA registration is required to practise as a nurse in Australia.
• Minimum of 12 months experience as a Registered Nurse (desirable in-charge).
• NDIS Worker Screen and/or National Police check, or willingness to obtain before commencement.
• Excellent communication with residents, families and staff; patient-centred care.

About The Role

As a Registered Nurse, you’ll provide a range of clinical care and support services for our residents, assisting them to experience a greater level of independence and ensuring their health and wellness are supported.

These include:

• Providing and monitoring the care of residents
• Using a systematic approach to clinical decision-making
• Developing appropriate therapeutic and caring relationships
• Collaborating with the health care team to achieve resident outcomes
• Participating in the development of a supportive environment with the team

To be successful, you will have

• Relevant qualifications and AHPRA registration
• Minimum of 12 months experience as a Registered Nurse (desirable in-charge)
• Valid working rights in Australia (Passport, Birth Certificate etc)
• NDIS Workers Screen and or a National Police check (or willingness to obtain) prior to commencement
• Ability to communicate effectively with residents, families and all levels of staff
• Strong passion for working with the elderly and dedication to professional growth
