Job summary

Anglicare Sydney's Piper House in Dapto is seeking a Registered Nurse to provide compassionate clinical care that enhances residents' wellbeing and independence. You will work with a multidisciplinary team to develop and evaluate personalised care plans, support residents and their families, and maintain accurate documentation in line with aged care standards.

You will also lead and mentor care team members to promote best practices and a safe, respectful living environment.

Qualifications

• Current registration with AHPRA as a Registered Nurse.
• Bachelor of Nursing.
• NDIS Worker Screening Check Clearance ID.
• Strong clinical skills with the ability to manage complex care needs.

Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive clinical care, including medication administration according to personalised care plans
• Develop and evaluate care plans in collaboration with our multidisciplinary team
• Build trusting, genuine relationships with residents and their families while providing emotional support
• Maintain accurate clinical documentation in compliance with aged care standards and regulations
• Lead and mentor care team members to promote best practices in aged care and ensure a safe, clean environment for all

What's required:

• Current registration with AHPRA as a Registered Nurse

• 3 years experience in aged care or a similar healthcare setting
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

• Availability to work Wednesday afternoons and Thursday nights
