Job summary

Southern Cross Care NSW & ACT is seeking a dedicated Registered Nurse to provide safe direct nursing care in line with best practice, carrying out holistic assessments and developing care plans to support residents.

This permanent full-time role offers 76 hours per fortnight, a salary of 91,000–93,000 AUD per year, plus 12% super and Not-for-profit salary packaging benefits, with shifts across mornings, afternoons and nights.

Qualifications

• Current AHPRA registration as a Registered Nurse.
• Aged Care/Hospital experience.
• Availability to work a rotating roster including morning, afternoon and night duties.
• Ability to communicate effectively and patiently with residents.
• Understanding of ANACC, including charting, assessments, documentation and funding submissions.

Your role will incorporate complete holistic assessments, develop appropriate care plans, evaluate and make clinical decisions, guide care staff, and improve the quality of life of residents. About you

Current AHPRA registration as a Registered Nurse

Demonstrated Aged Care/Hospital experience

Availability to work a rotating roster which includes morning, afternoon and night duties

Ability to communicate effectively and patiently with a range of residents with a variety of health issues

A genuine enthusiasm, care and compassion in your commitment to working with older people

Understanding of ANACC, including charting, assessments, documentation and funding submissions
