Job summary

Carlisle Health is seeking a Nuclear Medicine Technologist to join the Wide Bay Nuclear Medicine team in Hervey Bay. This permanent role offers either full-time or part-time hours in a supportive, patient-centered environment with opportunities to upskill in PET for the right candidate.

The successful applicant will perform a range of Nuclear Medicine procedures, produce high-quality diagnostic images, and work closely with a multidisciplinary team to ensure excellent patient outcomes.

Qualifications

• Bachelor degree in Nuclear Medicine or closely related field is required.
• AHPRA registration is mandatory or eligible.
• Current Queensland Radiation Licence and WWCC are required.

Responsibilities

• Perform Nuclear Medicine procedures to produce high-quality diagnostic images.
• Ensure patient comfort, information and safety throughout visits.
• Collaborate with the multidisciplinary team to deliver optimal outcomes.
• Maintain accurate imaging records and procedural standards.

As a valued member of our imaging team, your day-to-day responsibilities will include:

• Performing a range of Nuclear Medicine procedures, to produce images of the highest diagnostic quality possible.
• Produce accurate, high-quality diagnostic images in a timely and efficient manner.
• Ensure all patients feel supported, informed, and comfortable throughout their visit.
• Work collaboratively with our multidisciplinary team to deliver excellent patient outcomes.

Background and experience

• Bachelor of Applied Science (Medical Radiation Science) Nuclear Medicine.
• Current AHPRA registration.
• Current (or eligible for) Queensland Radiation Licence.
• Current Working With Children Check (WWCC).
• Strong attention to detail, technical competence, and a patient centered approach.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for effective collaboration.
