Job summary

Calvary Kirralee in Ballarat is seeking a Registered Nurse to join our aged care team. This permanent part-time role covers night shifts, totaling 37 hours per fortnight, and offers salary packaging, benefits and professional development in a supportive environment.

You will lead clinical care, ensure compliance with Aged Care Quality Standards and regulations, and work with a dedicated team to deliver a high standard of care and a quality lifestyle for residents.

Qualifications

• Active AHPRA registration as a Registered Nurse.
• Experience as a RN in aged care preferred.
• Experience with ACFI and accreditation requirements.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills.

About the role

Reporting to the Home Manager at Calvary Kirralee, located in Ballarat, we currently have an opportunity for Registered Nurses to join our team.

This is for covering night shifts, 37 hours / fortnight.

Key Responsibilities

• Providing clinical leadership to staff and ensuring compliance with legislative requirements to enable us to continue to deliver a high standard of care, services and most importantly a quality lifestyle for our residents.
• Ensure compliance throughout the home with Aged Care Quality Standards, legislative/statutory requirements and regulations.
• Able to multitask, prioritise, delegate and manage the delegation process to ensure appropriate quality outcomes within expected or non-negotiable timeframes

What you bring

• An active AHPRA registration and qualifications as a Registered Nurse
• Previous experience working as a Registered Nurse in Aged Care is preferred
• Experience with ACFI and accreditation requirements
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills
• A desire to join a team committed to the care of others in a mission-based organisation
