Job summary

Cpl Healthcare in Melbourne seeks an experienced Registered Midwife to join a dynamic maternity service. The role offers visa sponsorship and flexible work arrangements while delivering high-quality, woman-centred care across clinical settings.

You will work within a multidisciplinary team to support women, babies and families; participate in documentation, quality improvement, education and mentoring of students, and ongoing professional development.

Qualifications

• Current registration as a Registered Midwife with AHPRA (or in process)
• Recent experience as a Registered Midwife in an acute healthcare setting
• Ability to work collaboratively within multidisciplinary healthcare teams

Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive midwifery care in accordance with standards and guidelines
• Assess, plan, implement and evaluate care for women and newborns
• Recognise and respond to changes in clinical condition
• Collaborate with medical, nursing, midwifery and allied health teams
• Support health promotion, education and advocacy for women and families
• Maintain accurate and timely clinical documentation
• Participate in quality improvement, research and evidence-based practice
• Contribute to supervision, mentoring and development of students and less-experienced staff
