SA Health in Port Augusta is recruiting Registered Midwives for multiple ongoing positions. You will provide compassionate, woman-centred midwifery care across the maternity journey within a multidisciplinary team.

The base salary range is $79,381 - $108,311 per annum, with regional allowances where applicable. The role offers flexible working arrangements, professional development opportunities, and accommodation assistance where applicable.

About the Role:

You will provide safe, high-quality midwifery care to women and families across the healthcare setting. You will work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team, applying your knowledge and skills to support positive outcomes and promote consumer and family‑centred care.

• Registered or eligible for registration as a Midwife with a current practising certificate.
• Demonstrated competence in midwifery practice in accordance with the appropriate standards of practice.
• Effective communication, problem‑solving and conflict resolution skills, with the ability to work in a multidisciplinary team.
• Ability to prioritise workload and approach issues with creativity, flexibility and initiative.
• Commitment to consumer, client and family‑centred care, with knowledge of relevant legislation, standards, codes and quality improvement.
