Job summary

Greenstaff Medical Australia is seeking Registered Midwives for flexible casual shifts across Melbourne, VIC. Work morning, afternoon, or night across public and private hospitals, with strong pay rates and 24/7 support from clinical and recruitment teams.

Qualifications

• Minimum 1 year of midwifery experience in Australia (or recognised experience from UK, Ireland, Singapore, USA, or Canada).
• Current AHPRA Registration as a Midwife.
• Current CPR/BLS, Practical FSEP, and Practical NNR.
• Infection Control and other relevant clinical competencies.

Responsibilities

• Provide midwifery care across maternity and birthing settings.
• Cover morning, afternoon or night shifts across Melbourne public and private hospitals.
• Grow clinical exposure and gain new skills with every shift.
• Be part of a dedicated 24/7 support network for staff and shifts.

What We’re Looking For

We’re seeking professional and caring Registered Midwives who thrive in dynamic, fast-paced environments and love the variety that casual work offers.

You’ll need:

• Minimum 1 year of midwifery experience in Australia (or recognised experience from UK, Ireland, Singapore, USA, or Canada)
• Current AHPRA Registration as a Midwife
• Current CPR/BLS, Practical FSEP, and Practical NNR
• Infection Control and other relevant clinical competencies
• Valid Australian working rights
• Current WWCC (Employee) and National Police Check
• Flu and COVID-19 vaccination records
• iEMR training or willingness to complete for VIC Public Hospitals
