Job summary

Salt Medics in Biloela, Queensland, is seeking a Registered Midwife for a 19-bed hospital to deliver comprehensive maternity care. The role demands experience across antenatal, labour and postnatal care, with an emphasis on continuity of care and education for families.

Advanced Neonatal Resuscitation certification and current AHPRA registration are essential, with a 24/7 on-call MGP roster and accommodation plus travel provided for the contract period.

Qualifications

• Must have midwifery experience across antenatal, postnatal, labour/birth care and education.
• Advanced Neonatal Resuscitation certification required.
• Registered with AHPRA and eligible to work in Australia.

Responsibilities

• Provide continuity of care throughout pregnancy, labour, birth and the postnatal period.
• Work a Midwifery Group Practice roster with 24/7 on-call availability.
