Job summary

Mindplace, a part of Bupa, is excited to welcome a Registered or Clinical Psychologist to our new Western Sydney centre opening December 2026. We offer flexible employment options with both full-time and part-time roles, and you'll be seeing Bupa customers and others seeking mental health services.

As a clinician in Mindplace, you will conduct comprehensive assessments, diagnose conditions, develop treatment plans, and collaborate with referring providers to support practice growth across

Qualifications

• Relevant tertiary qualification in Psychology or a Master’s/Doctorate in Clinical Psychology.
• General Registration with the Psychology Board of Australia.
• 5+ years of recent clinical experience.
• Advanced clinical expertise in mental health services.

Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive psychological assessments, diagnose mental health conditions, and provide evidence-based therapies.
• Develop personalised treatment plans based on assessments and patient needs.
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date documentation of patient interactions and treatment plans.
• Build and sustain collaborative relationships with referring healthcare providers to strengthen patient referral networks.
• Coordinate with external providers to fulfil service requests within an established procedural framework.

About the Role

An exciting opportunity is available for a Registered or Clinical Psychologist to join our newly established Western Sydney centre, set to open in December 2026. We offer flexible employment options, with both full-time and part-time (3 days per week) positions available.

As a Psychologist at Mindplace, you’ll be a pivotal part of our team, shaping the future of mental health services with Bupa. This role is a patient-facing clinical position where you will be seeing Bupa customers and others who wish to utilise the Bupa services. This is an opportunity to drive meaningful change and innovate new ways to support mental health journeys throughout Australia.

In this role, you’ll:

• Conduct comprehensive psychological assessments, diagnose mental health conditions, and provide evidence-based therapies
• Develop personalised treatment plans based on assessments and patient needs
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date documentation of patient interactions, treatment plans
• Build and sustain collaborative relationships with referring healthcare providers to strengthen patient referral networks and support practice growth
• Coordinate with external providers to fulfil service requests within an established procedural framework

About you

We’re seeking an experienced Registered / Clinical Psychologist with:

• Relevant tertiary qualification in Psychology or a Master’s/Doctorate in Clinical Psychology.
• General Registration with the Psychology Board of Australia
• 5+ years of recent clinical experience.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to build strong relationships with clients and colleagues.
• Advanced clinical expertise in mental health services.
