Job summary

Bupa is seeking a Manager, Clinical Assurance & Risk to provide expert clinical assurance and governance across APAC. You will lead audits, identify risks, monitor regulatory changes, and develop executive reporting to support informed decisions.

The role requires a nursing degree with AHPRA registration, plus five years of clinical experience and three in governance, with strong communication and data analysis skills. Hybrid work arrangement offered.

The purpose ofthe Manager, Clinical Assurance & Risk will play a key role to ensure high-quality care is provided to our customers by providing oversight and assurance of Bupa’s Enterprise Clinical Governance Policy.

What you'll be doing:

• Provide expert clinical assurance and governance advice to support risk, compliance and business teams across APAC.
• Lead assurance activities including audits, reviews, data analysis and insights to improve governance performance.
• Identify, assess and mitigate clinical governance risks while strengthening risk frameworks, controls and registers.
• Monitor regulatory changes and support compliance initiatives to ensure alignment with clinical governance requirements.
• Develop executive and board-level reporting, dashboards and performance insights to support informed decision-making.
• Build clinical governance capability across the business through coaching, education and continuous improvement initiatives.

What you’ll need to make it possible

• A nursing degree with current unconditional and unrestricted professional AHPRA registration.
• At least five years of clinical experience and three years in a relevant clinical assurance, quality, risk or governance role.
• Excellent interpersonal skills to effectively collaborate, appropriately challenge, and influence senior management and clinicians to achieve mutual delivery agreed outcomes.
• Highly developed communication skills with experience in report writing and presenting to senior management.
• Demonstrated ability to manage relevant clinical information systems, analyse and critique clinical and operational data to develop insights and guide clinical governance improvement.
