SA Health's Northern Adelaide Local Health Network is seeking dedicated mental health Registered and Clinical Nurses to join our innovative Modbury Mental Health Rehabilitation Unit. This position provides a unique opportunity to help shape the future of rehabilitation care in Adelaide’s northern region within a purpose-built facility.
As a mental health Registered / Clinical Nurse you will deliver compassionate, person-centred and trauma informed care focused on recovery, independence, and community living. Working within a collaborative multidisciplinary environment alongside Occupational Therapy, Social Work, Psychiatry, Psychology, Peer, Cultural and Carer colleagues, Drug and Alcohol specialists, Dietetics, Exercise Physiology and the many support services required to delivery holistic care, you'll play a pivotal role in supporting consumers to achieve their recovery goals.
Our rehabilitation service specialises in solution focused care that promotes skill development in physical, mental, and social wellbeing and social inclusion through a true multidisciplinary team inpatient model 365 days a year. You'll work closely with both clinical and community-based services, including supported living community rehabilitation centres, driving mental health rehabilitation innovation while fostering a culture of continuous improvement and co-design.
Our Clinical Nurse (RN2C) positions offer the perfect blend of advanced clinical practice and leadership development. You'll mentor junior staff while taking on specialised portfolio responsibilities tailored to your career aspirations. For Registered Nurses (RN1), develop from novice to proficient practitioner in a supportive environment focused on your professional growth.
To be eligible for this position, you must be registered or eligible for registration as a Nurse with the Nursing and Midwifery Board of Australia and who holds, or who is eligible to hold, a current practicing certificate and you must be enrolled in an approved mental health course or hold a qualification in mental health practice.
