Job summary

Ventura Bus Lines in Victoria is seeking a Regional Workshop Manager to lead workshop operations across Pakenham and Monbulk, driving safety, efficiency and people leadership while mentoring apprentices and developing skilled technicians.

The role requires a mechanical or trade qualification, proven multi-site workshop experience, strong leadership and stakeholder management, plus a current Australian Driver Licence.

Qualifications

• Hands-on leadership with multi-site workshop experience.
• Experience mentoring apprentices and developing technicians.
• Current Australian Driver Licence (class appropriate).

Responsibilities

• Lead, coach, and develop workshop teams across multiple locations.
• Oversee day-to-day workshop and fleet maintenance to meet safety and reliability targets.
• Manage labour, resources and productivity; monitor repair times and schedules.
• Partner with Depot Managers and suppliers to coordinate maintenance and ensure fleet availability.
• Champion a strong safety culture and ensure WHS compliance across all sites.
