Job summary

ACCIONA is seeking a hands-on Traffic Controller to coordinate traffic flow for regional Victorian construction sites and support road safety initiatives. The role emphasizes learning and development within the traffic team and working closely with supervisors and subcontractors.

You will be based at regional camps, ensuring permits and records are maintained while safety remains the priority. The position offers growth through structured training and real project exposure.

Qualifications

• White card (essential) or willingness to obtain.
• Civil/transport planning/construction/traffic background.
• Strong communication and teamwork on site.
• Safe on-site approach and compliance with plans.
• Traffic Management Design 1, 2 and 3 (desirable).

Responsibilities

• Coordinate traffic control for construction activities, plant movements and deliveries.
• Support Worksite Traffic Management Plans and Traffic Guidance Schemes.
• Inspect work fronts to verify compliance with approved traffic plans.
• Monitor traffic impacts and safety or operational risks.
• Partner with contractors, site crews and authorities.
• Maintain permits, approvals, records and incident reports.
