Job summary

Michael Page Australia is seeking a Sales Engineer for a German-based manufacturer with strong operations across VIC, NSW, WA & SA. You will identify and develop new industrial opportunities, build client relationships, and provide technical product advice to support applications.

You will travel to client sites with a valid driver’s license, present solutions, monitor market trends, and help the sales team achieve targets. Permanent, full-time with base salary plus car, super and bonus.

Qualifications

• Proven experience in sales, preferably in engineering/manufacturing or a technical field.
• Strong technical aptitude with the ability to explain product applications.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for client engagement.
• Results-driven mindset focused on meeting/exceeding targets.
• Strong organisational and time management skills for multiple projects.
• Ability to work in a team and independently when required.
• Valid driver's licence to travel to client sites.

Responsibilities

• Identify and develop new business opportunities within the industrial sector.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with existing and potential clients.
• Provide technical support and advice on product applications and solutions.
• Prepare and deliver presentations to showcase benefits of products and services.
• Collaborate with internal teams to meet customer requirements.
