Job summary

Intro Recruitment Solutions seeks a Senior Design Manager to lead design management across regional projects from development through to construction. You will work with Project Managers, regional leadership and project teams to manage design consultants, coordinate stakeholders and ensure design outcomes meet programme, budget, quality and compliance.

The role requires an experienced design leader who can manage multiple projects, mentor team members and drive collaboration to achieve

Qualifications

• Degree in Architecture, Engineering or Construction Management required.
• Experience delivering large, complex construction projects.
• Proven leadership of design teams throughout delivery.
• Strong knowledge of design management and procurement.

Qualifications

• Strong understanding of design management, construction methodology and procurement.
• Experience managing design changes, value engineering, project risks and compliance.
• Knowledge of the NCC, BCA and relevant statutory regulations.
• Strong commercial understanding of programme, cost and quality.
• Experience managing multidisciplinary consultants and project stakeholders.

You will work with clients, consultants, subcontractors and construction teams to manage design risks, resolve issues and maintain alignment with project delivery objectives. You will also support consistent design management practices, share best practice and strengthen design capability across the region.
