Respect is seeking a Clinical Quality & Compliance Coordinator for Bayview Haven, Portland to lead clinical governance and drive quality improvement in residential aged care. This full-time role focuses on strengthening care standards, readiness for accreditation, and ensuring safety and regulatory compliance.

You will work with the General Manager and Care teams, provide oversight of audits, document care activities, mentor staff, and support incident management.

Qualifications

• Current AHPRA registration as a Registered Nurse.
• Experience in residential aged care and advanced clinical assessment skills.
• Knowledge of Aged Care Quality Standards and clinical governance.
• Experience conducting clinical audits and accreditation preparation.
• Strong clinical documentation and care planning skills.
• Experience supporting incident management and risk assessment processes.
• Strong communication, interpersonal and mentoring skills.
• Proficient with Microsoft Office and clinical software systems.

Responsabilités

• Provide clinical oversight to ensure care aligns with best practice, legislation, and standards.
• Conduct clinical audits and reviews to monitor care quality, compliance, and resident outcomes.
• Support continuous improvement initiatives and implement strategies to address gaps or risks.
• Ensure readiness for accreditation and compliance with Aged Care Quality Standards and regulatory requirements.
• Review resident clinical records and support complex care assessments and case reviews.
• Assist with incident management, investigations, risk mitigation, and corrective action planning.
• Provide clinical guidance, mentorship, and education to nursing and care teams.
• Monitor clinical systems, documentation and data integrity to ensure accuracy and timely completion of care activities.
