Job summary

The Department of Education, Western Australia, seeks Pool of Program Coordinators – High-Quality Teaching to support remote schools in the Kimberley region. Roles include instructional coaching, modelling effective instruction and supporting teachers from Kindergarten to Year 2, with travel across Broome, Kununurra and Fitzroy Crossing.

Qualifications

• Qualified teacher with registration or eligibility to teach in Western Australia.
• Willingness to undertake frequent travel to the Kimberley region and remote schools.
• Experience in Kindergarten to Year 2 and support to teachers across Years 3–10 would be advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Provide instructional coaching and coaching to teachers and leaders.
• Model high-quality teaching and effective instruction.
• Support data-driven practice by guiding analysis of student achievement data.
• Travel regularly to remote schools and regional communities to support teachers.
