Job summary

Marathon Health is seeking a proactive Occupational Therapist to support regional programs across Griffith, Young and Lake Cargelligo. You will contribute to the Waratah for Kids initiative, conduct screenings, assessments, and short-term interventions, and assist with referrals to enhance caregiver capacity.

You will join a multidisciplinary team delivering services to NDIS participants and other community programs, with opportunities for professional growth and diverse caseloads.

Qualifications

• Qualified Occupational Therapist with current AHPRA registration.
• Ability to work in a collaborative, regional community setting.
• Commitment to evidence-based, client-centred practice.
• Strong communication and teamwork skills.
• Desire to contribute to Waratah for Kids and other programs.

Responsibilities

• Support Waratah for Kids program with screening, assessment, and short-term interventions.
• Refer to other services and educate caregivers to build capacity.
• Collaborate with therapists and community supports across regions.
• Deliver services to NDIs participants and other community programs as available.
• Provide high-quality, evidence-based therapy in a multidisciplinary team.
