Job summary

Marathon Health is seeking an Occupational Therapist to join our multidisciplinary team serving Griffith, Young and Lake Cargelligo communities. Full or part-time options are available, with a focus on diverse community-based therapy and development programs.

You will work on the Waratah for Kids initiative, conducting screening and short-term interventions, and facilitating referrals and caregiver education. There will be opportunities to support NDIs participants and other community services.

Qualifications

• Qualified Occupational Therapist with current AHPRA registration.
• Ability to work in a multidisciplinary team.
• Commitment to evidence-based, client-centred practice.
• Willingness to serve regional communities (Griffith, Young, Lake Cargelligo).

Responsibilities

• Screen and assess children in Waratah for Kids program.
• Deliver short-term interventions and facilitate referrals.
• Provide education and support to build caregiver capacity.
• Collaborate with therapists, community supports and Waratah for Kids Paediatric Linker.
• Contribute to services for NDIS participants and other community programs.
