Job summary

Mildura Base Public Hospital in regional Victoria is seeking a Staff Specialist in Obstetrics & Gynecology. You will provide consultant-level services within a public hospital, working with a multidisciplinary team and contributing to education and mentoring of junior staff.

The role emphasises clinical governance, quality improvement and patient-centred care across women's health services, with opportunities for professional development in a supportive, regional setting.

Qualifications

• Fellowship of the Royal Australian and New Zealand College of Obstetricians and Gynaecologists (or equivalent)
• Current registration with AHPRA (or eligibility)
• Demonstrated consultant-level experience in Obstetrics & Gynaecology
• Commitment to teaching, supervision and clinical leadership
• Strong understanding of clinical governance and professional standards

Responsibilities

• Provide consultant-level Obstetrics & Gynecology services within a public hospital setting
• Work within a collaborative multidisciplinary team
• Contribute to teaching, supervision and mentoring of junior staff
• Participate in clinical governance, quality improvement and service development
