Job summary

Mediix invites applications for the 2027 Obstetrics & Gynaecology Registrar (Non-Accredited) in regional South Australia. This full-time role offers broad clinical exposure across antenatal, intrapartum, postnatal, gynaecology, and emergency presentations within a busy regional hospital.

You will work under consultant supervision, in a supportive Women’s Health team, with opportunities for professional development, flexible working arrangements, and relocation support if needed.

Qualifications

• Hold AHPRA General Registration, or Limited Registration (Level 3+)
• Ambition to develop in women's health and expand O&G skills
• Able to work effectively in a multidisciplinary team and manage competing priorities
• Value work–life balance and community-based medicine

Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive obstetric and gynaecological care under consultant supervision
• Participate in theatre lists, birth suite duties, and outpatient clinics
• Support, supervise, and collaborate with junior medical officers
• Engage in clinical audit, teaching, simulation, and quality improvement
• Contribute to a positive, team-focused departmental culture
