Job summary

The Hospital in northwestern Victoria is seeking a Specialist Nephrologist to join a regional health service delivering comprehensive renal care across inpatient, outpatient, and dialysis settings.

The role includes haemodialysis and peritoneal dialysis oversight, kidney biopsies, and inpatient consultations, with opportunities for teaching and research in a supportive environment. This is a clinical leadership position within a regional health network.

Qualifications

• 12 months' recent experience in Nephrology/Renal Medicine.
• FRACP fellowship or on-track with RACP process.
• IMG candidates must have RACP interview date and substantial comparability assessment.

Responsibilities

• Provide inpatient and outpatient nephrology care, including dialysis planning.
• Oversee haemodialysis and peritoneal dialysis services.
• Contribute to policy development, teaching, and service improvement.
