Job summary

Gold Coast Health is seeking a Senior Staff Specialist or Staff Specialist (Nephrologist) to join the Renal service on the Gold Coast. The role focuses on clinical nephrology expertise, medical education, and high-quality patient-centered care in a large regional health system.

The successful candidate will provide specialist nephrology support, participate in teaching, and contribute to after-hours on-call arrangements for the Renal Service.

Qualifications

• MBBS or equivalent registrable with the Medical Board of Australia.
• FRACP or equivalent acceptable to RACP and registrable as a Nephrology specialist with AHPRA.
• Strong clinical and teaching experience.

Responsibilities

• Provide clinical specialist Nephrology support to the Renal service.
• Contribute to medical education and safe, patient-centred practice.
• Participate in after-hours and on-call roster for the Renal Service.
