Job summary

New South Wales Premier's Department – Newcastle NSW is seeking a Regional Manager to lead a dispersed team and strengthen Aboriginal communities across NSW. You will partner with Aboriginal leaders, government agencies, NGOs and the private sector to drive initiatives and deliver meaningful outcomes.

You will lead the implementation of OCHRE and related programs, manage budgets and risks, and provide strategic advice to senior executives while building a high-performing, culturally safe

Qualifications

• Experience leading with Aboriginal communities and leaders.
• Strong ability to influence across government, NGOs and private sector.
• Proven track record delivering complex programs on time and budget.
• Experience coaching geographically dispersed teams.
• Clear, strategic advisory and briefing skills for executives.

Responsibilities

• Lead regional partnerships and priority projects that strengthen Aboriginal communities and deliver outcomes across NSW.
• Oversee budgets, risks and performance across the Northern NSW region.
• Foster a high-performing, culturally safe workplace and team culture.
• Build productive relationships with Aboriginal leaders, government agencies, NGOs and private sector.
• Provide strategic advice and briefs to senior executives on emerging issues.
