Job summary

Freedom FM in Victoria is seeking a reliable Carpenter/Handyman to join our Morwell team on a government housing contract. We offer a company vehicle, a supportive team, and full training to keep our properties well-maintained.

You will handle general property maintenance, carpentry, lock changes, plaster and door repairs, tile work, and painting as needed. Own tools required; driving license essential; after-hours roster.

Qualifications

• Experienced in property maintenance and/or carpentry
• Able to demonstrate a stable work history
• Positive, flexible and willing to take on a variety of tasks
• A team player with a strong work ethic
• Able to work independently and manage their daily workload

Responsibilities

• Perform a broad range of maintenance and carpentry tasks across the Morwell region
• Lock changes and repairs, plaster and door repairs
• Basic and full tile replacement
• Painting skills – highly desirable
• Must have own tools
• Work within after-hours call-out roster as required
