Control Risks is recruiting a Regional Intelligence Analyst to support the Global Security department for a major international medical device company in the APAC region. You will join a dedicated team delivering tactical and strategic intelligence to aid decision-making and crisis management across Australia and the broader APAC area.

You will monitor events, produce actionable reports, and work with stakeholders to translate insights into risk mitigation actions, ensuring business resilience

Formación

• Three to five years of relevant experience in threat intelligence, risk analysis or related field.
• Bachelor's degree in international relations, politics, security studies, or a relevant field.
• Knowledge of security, political, regulatory, operational and social risk issues across APAC.
• Excellent English-language oral and written communication and presentation skills.
• Capable of handling multiple priorities and tight deadlines while interacting with colleagues and clients.
• Ability to summarize and critically assess large volumes of information.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Excellent organizational skills.

Responsabilidades

• Provide intelligence-related support to Regional Security Directors and Security Operations Centers.
• Monitor global, regional and local events to identify threats and present threats clearly.
• Aggregate data and produce reports to represent status and results.
• Conduct strategic, tactical and quantitative analysis in support of security investigations and operations.
• Conduct incisive analysis and forecasting on geopolitical and security issues for informed business decisions.
• Communicate insights with team members and other departments to support risk analysis.
• Leverage risk monitoring platforms and consult country analysts as needed.
• Develop and issue intelligence communications regarding alerts that may impact the company.
• Assist in building tools and processes in support of threat analysis.
• Provide rapid assessment and incident tracking for disaster and crisis management.
• Identify and remediate inefficiencies and gaps in processes.

Join the Control Risks Team as a Regional Intelligence Analyst supporting the Global Security department of a major international medical device company. They will be part of a dedicated team of analysts, who will provide tactical and strategic intelligence monitoring on the APAC Region, to ensure that relevant stakeholders can bring critical decision-making and crisis management skills to bear in order to minimize the impact to people, assets, information and reputation.

Please note: This role will commence employment on January 2nd, 2027.

Responsibilities

• Provide intelligence-related support to Regional Security Directors and Security Operations Centers
• Monitor global, regional and local events to identify threats, remove false positives and present potential threats in a meaningful and comprehensive way
• Aggregate data and produce reports to represent status and results
• Conduct strategic, tactical and quantitative analysis in support of security investigations and operations
• Conduct incisive analysis and forecasting on geopolitical and security issues, monitor country threat ratings and draw from extensive database of incidents and couple those with visualization and analytics tools to help the Client make informed business decisions and plan operations in confidence
• Partner and effectively communicate with team members and other departments to produce insights, develop analytics-driven solutions, and support intelligence gathering and risk analysis
• Leverage the full range of services provided by Control Risks' risk monitoring platform and access relevant country analysts (and other Subject Matter Experts) when required
• Develop and issue intelligence communications regarding alerts that have the potential to impact the company
• Assist in the building and deployment of tools and processes in support of threat analysis
• Provide contextual support (rapid assessment, leadership briefing support, incident tracking) to disaster and crisis management coordination
• Identify and improve inefficiencies and remediate process gaps

• Three to five years of relevant experience in threat intelligence, risk analysis or related field.
• Bachelor's degree in international relations, politics, security studies, or a relevant field.
• Knowledge and understanding of key security, political, regulatory, operational, integrity and social risk issues across the APAC region.
• Excellent English-language oral and written communication and presentation skills. Knowledge of other relevant languages will be an asset
• Capable of handling multiple priorities and tight deadlines while interacting with colleagues and clients in sometimes challenging situations
• Ability to find, evaluate and succinctly summarize and critically assess large volumes of information, filtering out non-relevant details
• Ability to work both independently and as part of a team
• Excellent organizational skills
