Job summary

The Department of Education is seeking an Inclusive Education Senior Practice Advisor on a fixed-term, part-time basis (0.4 FTE) from 2 November 2026 to 31 December 2027. The role can be based in Greensborough, Coburg, Bendigo, Mildura or Swan Hill offices.

Working within the Disability Inclusion Branch, you will champion inclusive education, provide expert policy and program advice, and coordinate professional learning, including the Inclusive Classrooms program.

Qualifications

• Collaborates with regional staff and schools to support inclusive education.
• Advises on policy and program delivery for inclusive education.
• Supports delivery of professional learning programs such as Inclusive Classrooms.

Responsibilities

• Build schools' awareness of Inclusive Education resources and supports.
• Upskill regional staff in tier 1/tier 2 inclusive practices.
• Coordinate Inclusive Classrooms courses and related professional learning.
