Job summary

Macfarlane Packaging is seeking a reliable HGV Class 2 Driver to join our team in Wakefield, covering the Yorkshire area. You will manage multi-drop deliveries with a focus on safety and customer service, working Monday to Friday in daytime hours.

We offer a salary of £31,036 per annum plus performance and site bonuses, plus 25 days holiday rising to 27, pension and wellbeing benefits, with training and development opportunities to progress within our logistics operation.

Qualifications

• Valid HGV Class 2 (Category C) licence.
• Driver CPC and Digital Tachograph Card.
• Experience in multi-drop or regional deliveries.
• Strong safety awareness and reliability.
• Professional, customer-focused attitude.

Responsibilities

• Multi-drop deliveries across the local region.
• Safe operation of HGV Class 2 vehicles.
• Daily vehicle checks and defect reporting.
• Loading vehicles and securing loads correctly.
• Delivering excellent customer service.
• Following all Health & Safety procedures.
