Job summary

ComfortDelGro Corporation Australia (CDC) is seeking two Driver Trainers to support driver training, assessments and development across our NSW operations. The roles travel across Metropolitan depots and the Hunter Region to ensure drivers meet safety, driving behaviours, and customer-experience standards.

Reporting to the Learning & Development Manager, you will onboard new drivers, conduct pre-employment assessments, maintain training resources, and stay current with licensing requirements.

Qualifications

• Current MR license, NSW Bus Drivers Authority and NSW Working with Children Clearance.
• Certificate IV in Training and Assessment (TAE40116 / TAE40110).
• Certificate IV in Transport & Logistics (Road Transport - Heavy Vehicle Driving Instruction).
• Experience in training and/or mentoring.
• Passion for health and safety and providing a professional and memorable customer experience.
• Resilient and able to work under pressure.
• Excellent time management and communication skills.
• Intermediate proficiency in MS Office Programs (Outlook, PowerPoint, Excel).
• Current HR Licence (highly regarded).
• Experience training MR and HR licence upgrades (highly regarded).
• LMS record maintenance experience (highly regarded).

Responsibilities

• Train, develop, support, coach and mentor Drivers and Depot Staff to meet CDC NSW standards for safety, driving behaviours and customer experience.
• Ensure training and on-road assessments are completed to the standards and requirements of CDC NSW and other stakeholders.
• Ensure new Drivers and Depot Staff are adequately onboarded to the induction plan appropriate to their role.
• Conduct pre-employment driving assessments and provide outcome and feedback as required for recruitment process.
• Maintain up to date knowledge of licensing and regulatory requirements for Drivers.
• Prepare and maintain training resources and materials for compliance purposes.
• Comply with NSW state's WHS, Regulations and Codes of Practice
• Comply with CDC NSW's WHS and Risk Management Policies and Procedures
• Ensure all accidents and incidents are investigated promptly.
• Reporting hazards and incidents
