Magistrates' Court of Victoria is seeking a Registrar in Seymour to deliver fair, efficient, and accessible justice. You will undertake court-based proceedings, client services, and administrative functions while exercising statutory powers.

The role requires completing the MCV Trainee Court Registrar Program and being a Qualified/Deputy Registrar with broad jurisdictional experience; leadership and strong communication skills are essential.

Qualifications

• Completion of the MCV Trainee Court Registrar Program.
• Qualified/Deputy Registrar with broad jurisdiction experience.
• Strong leadership, communication and interpersonal abilities.

Responsabilités

• Perform in-court duties including bench clerk functions.
• Provide high-quality service to court users via telephone and counter enquiries.
• Prepare, process and manage administrative and statutory documents.
• Exercise discretionary quasi-judicial and statutory powers.
• Lead, coach and support registry staff to achieve operational excellence.
• Build and maintain relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
