Premier's Department NSW is seeking a Regional Coordination Officer (Clerk Grade 7/8) to help deliver government priorities across regional NSW. Based in the Illawarra-South East region, you will coordinate projects, support cross‑agency responses and build strong stakeholder relationships with government, community partners and other stakeholders.

You’ll manage projects, research and analyse complex issues, prepare high‑quality advice and reports, and support place‑based initiatives.

Qualifications

• Experience supporting the development, coordination and delivery of projects to achieve agreed objectives and outcomes.
• Experience researching and analysing complex regional, social, economic or service delivery issues to develop balanced, evidence‑based advice.
• Ability to prepare high‑quality briefs, reports and correspondence in plain English for senior leaders within tight timeframes.
• Understanding of how government operates, including ministerial, agency and central agency environments.
• Proven experience building and maintaining effective working relationships with government, industry, community or non‑government stakeholders to support shared outcomes.
• Ability to manage competing priorities, organise your workload, use initiative and deliver work to agreed timeframes and standards.
• Commitment to public sector values, ethical decision‑making and accountability in all aspects of your work.
