Job summary

Asahi Beverages in Melbourne is seeking a Regional Category Manager – Non-Alc to join our Procurement team. You will help deliver practical commercial outcomes across our non-alcoholic portfolio and progressively own category strategy and sourcing activity.

You’ll build relationships, influence stakeholders, and turn analysis into action, with exposure to tenders, negotiations and supplier performance management. FMCG experience is helpful; a collaborative, coachable approach is essential.

Qualifications

• Practical procurement, sourcing or supplier-facing experience.
• Strong stakeholder engagement and influencing skills.
• Exposure to tenders, sourcing activity, negotiations or contract processes.
• Sound analytical capability and confidence forming recommendations.
• A collaborative, adaptable and coachable approach.
• Strong communication, organisation and follow-through.
• FMCG, manufacturing, ingredients, packaging or supply chain experience would be helpful, but isn’t essential

Responsibilities

• Support and progressively own category strategy and sourcing activity
• Partner with stakeholders to understand requirements and shape sourcing approaches
• Support or lead tenders, evaluations, negotiations and commercial recommendations
• Build productive supplier relationships and support performance and risk management
• Use market insights and commercial analysis to identify value opportunities
• Contribute to procurement governance, process improvement and continuous improvement
• Work collaboratively across the Procurement team and broader business
