Job summary

Latrobe Regional Health in Gippsland is seeking a Cancer Services Improvement Coordinator to lead regional cancer service improvement projects within the Gippsland Regional Integrated Cancer Service (GRICS). The role focuses on multidisciplinary care, survivorship and quality improvement to enhance access to high-quality cancer care across the Gippsland region.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree or higher in a healthcare, health management, project management or related discipline.
Experience coordinating initiatives and delivering outcomes within timelines.
Experience in healthcare settings and understanding of healthcare delivery and stakeholders.
Strong analytical, communication and relationship-building skills.

Responsibilities

Lead and coordinate cancer service improvement projects that support regional and statewide cancer care priorities.
Monitor, evaluate and report on project outcomes, performance measures and service improvement.
Collaborate with clinicians, health services, consumers and community stakeholders to identify opportunities for improved cancer care delivery.
Analyse cancer service data and support initiatives aligned with Optimal Care Pathways and best practice standards.
Prepare reports, presentations and recommendations for internal and external stakeholders, including governance groups and government agencies.
Undertake service mapping, quality improvement and planning activities to strengthen regional cancer services.
