Job summary

Oscar Wylee Pty Ltd. is seeking an Area Manager to lead a portfolio of stores, drive sales growth and ensure operational excellence across a defined region with regular store travel.

Reporting to the Regional Manager, you will work with Store Managers to deliver results, strengthen leadership capability and ensure compliant, high‑quality customer experiences across a fast-paced retail environment.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years relevant work experience.
• Studies in leadership, business/retail management or related to the role is an advantage.
• Strong collaborative leadership style enabling relationships across teams and stakeholders.
• Ability to influence stakeholders professionally and constructively.
• Focus on compliance and customer experience.
• Proven ability to coach sales and leadership skills.
• Solution and continuous improvement approach to solving problems.
• Able to make quick, sound decisions and think creatively.

Responsibilities

• Monitor store budgets and rosters to achieve sales targets and KPIs.
• Support Store Managers to operate stores within lease terms and hours.
• Lead recruitment activities including interviewing and workforce planning.
• Develop brand awareness and expand the customer base across stores.
• Assist teams with problem solving and continuous improvement initiatives.
• Implement short-term strategies and assist with change management.
• Coach Store Managers to strengthen leadership capability and customer experience.
