Qualifications

• Trade qualification in Refrigeration & Air Conditioning.
• Experience in mining, industrial or heavy industry.
• Strong fault-finding and maintenance capability.
• Safety-focused and team-oriented.
• Ability to work within structured site systems.

Responsibilities

• Maintain and repair HVAC and refrigeration systems on site.
• Service split, ducted, and packaged units.
• Install new refrigeration systems.
• Fault find and diagnose refrigeration and air-conditioning issues.
• Perform preventive and corrective maintenance.
• Handle refrigerants in compliance with environmental standards.
• Work within site permits and isolation procedures.
• Support site infrastructure including camps and facilities.

What the Role Looks Like on Site

You will be part of a maintenance team responsible for the performance and reliability of refrigeration and HVAC systems across site infrastructure.

• Work safely in line with site procedures and permit systems
• Take ownership of maintenance tasks from start to finish
• Communicate effectively with supervisors and team members
• Maintain a professional standard on and off shift

Key Responsibilities

• Maintenance and repair of HVAC and refrigeration systems
• Servicing of split systems, ducted systems, and packaged units
• Installation of new systems
• Fault finding and diagnostics on refrigeration and air-conditioning systems
• Preventive and corrective maintenance execution
• Refrigerant handling and environmental compliance
• Working within site permit and isolation systems
• Supporting site infrastructure including camps and facilities

What We're Looking For

• Trade qualified Refrigeration & Air Conditioning Mechanic
• Experience in mining, industrial, or heavy industry environments
• Strong fault-finding and maintenance capability
• Reliable, safety-focused, and team-oriented
• Ability to work within structured site systems

• Refrigeration & Air Conditioning Trade Qualification
• Refrigerant Handling Licence
• QLD Restricted Electrical Licence
• Full Australian working rights
