Job summary

TAFE SA is seeking a Lecturer to provide high-quality training, assessment and guidance to students across multiple campuses. The role emphasises practical skills in air conditioning and refrigeration, with industry engagement and the potential for consultancy work.

Applicants should have at least five years in the trade, relevant certificates and a commitment to delivering apprenticeship training while supporting diverse learners and aligning with training packages.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years relevant experience in air conditioning and refrigeration and/or electrical industry.
• Relevant Certificate III and/or Certificate IV Trade qualifications and appropriate licenses
• Current trade skills for residential and/or commercial Air-conditioning & Refrigeration. Demonstrated ability to deliver instructional skills and knowledge to a range of learners from fundamentals through to current industry practices
• Proven ability to deliver engaging apprenticeship training, build strong relationships with diverse learners, and adapt learning experiences to support individual needs, particularly those of young people.
• Completed or working towards completion of TAE40116 - Certificate IV in Training and Assessment or later

Responsibilities

• Provide quality educational service of training, assessment and guidance to students.
• Deliver instructional content from fundamentals to current industry practices in Air-conditioning & Refrigeration.
• Contribute to consultancy services to industry/community clients.
• Deliver engaging apprenticeship training and support diverse learners in learning needs.
