Job summary

City FM Australia, part of City Facilities Management, seeks an experienced refrigeration design professional to lead the design of transcritical CO₂ systems for major supermarket and retail projects. You will develop practical, compliant and energy-efficient solutions for new builds, renewals and asset replacement.

Qualifications

• Mechanical/HVAC Refrigeration design qualifications demonstrated in Australia.
• Experience with commercial or retail refrigeration design and specification.
• Familiarity with transcritical CO2 (TCO2) systems and energy efficiency standards.

Responsibilities

• Design and specify refrigeration systems for new builds, renewals and asset replacement projects.
• Provide technical guidance on system design, performance optimisation and equipment suitability.
• Collaborate with customers, project teams and stakeholders to deliver energy-efficient refrigeration solutions.
• Evaluate emerging refrigeration technologies and identify opportunities for innovation, energy savings and cost reduction.
• Review project performance, resolve technical issues and support continuous improvement across design standards and specifications.
