Woolworths Group is seeking a seasoned refrigeration engineer to support the 360 team. You will lead design, installation and maintenance of refrigeration systems across retail facilities, collaborating with HVAC engineers and field teams to deliver efficient, sustainable, and cost-effective solutions.

The role requires strong communication of complex technical concepts to senior stakeholders, a track record in energy reduction projects, and deep understanding of FMCG retail operations and asset

Qualifications

• Extensive expertise in retail refrigeration design, installation and maintenance.
• Strong ability to communicate complex technical concepts to senior stakeholders.
• Proven experience delivering energy efficiency and greenhouse gas reduction initiatives.
• Understanding of FMCG retail operations and refrigeration asset criticality.
• Skilled in project management, financial evaluation and implementation delivery.

Responsabilités

• Provide refrigeration systems expertise and support engineering strategy development for Woolworths 360.
• Collaborate with Showcase and HVAC Engineers to deliver efficient, sustainable and cost-effective refrigeration solutions.
• Support Field Engineers with specification interpretation, site solutions and continuous improvement initiatives.
• Lead refrigeration capability building through guild leadership and technical training.
• Maintain refrigeration specifications, briefs and services drawings aligned with standards requirements.
• Drive safety, sustainability and energy reduction initiatives across refrigeration lifecycles.
• Lead innovation in CO2 systems, HFC-free solutions and digital controls integration.
