Job summary

Lead Group in Melbourne's north and west is seeking a Refrigeration Mechanic to service, maintain and install commercial refrigeration systems across a diverse client base. The role offers exposure to industrial environments and a pathway to career growth within a growing HVAC and refrigeration business.

You will work with qualified technicians on fault finding, commissioning, cool rooms and air conditioning projects, with a supportive team that values reliability and quality workmanship.

Qualifications

• Solid commercial refrigeration experience.
• Apprentices: some practical refrigeration or HVAC experience and keen to learn while continuing formal training.

An opportunity is available to join a well established and growing commercial HVAC and refrigeration business with a strong reputation for delivering quality service across a diverse client base.

The business works across commercial, industrial and facilities environments, giving you exposure to a good variety of refrigeration and mechanical systems rather than doing the same work every day.

They are looking for qualified Refrigeration Mechanics as well as 2nd, 3rd and 4th year apprentices who are keen to continue developing their skills within a supportive team.

The Role

Depending on your experience, you will be involved in:

• Commercial refrigeration service and maintenance
• Installation and commissioning work
• Fault finding and diagnostics
• Cool rooms, freezers and commercial refrigeration systems
• Air conditioning and mechanical services
• Preventative maintenance across a varied client base
• Working alongside experienced technicians and project teams

About You

For qualified tradespeople, we are looking for someone with solid commercial refrigeration experience who enjoys a mix of service, fault finding and installation work.

For apprentices, you will ideally have some practical refrigeration or HVAC experience and be keen to learn from experienced tradespeople while continuing your formal training.

Most importantly, you will be reliable, willing to learn and take pride in the quality of your work.
