Job summary

EnerMech is seeking an HVAC Technician to install, maintain, and repair heating, ventilation, and air conditioning systems in a refinery environment. You will ensure optimal performance, energy efficiency, and compliance with safety standards.

The role covers preventive maintenance, diagnostics, and servicing of HVAC controls, with emphasis on accurate documentation and clear communication with clients and supervisors.

Qualifications

• Trade-qualified in Air Conditioning & Refrigeration (or equivalent).
• Electrical trade with HVAC experience acceptable.
• Strong diagnostic and problem-solving abilities.
• Ability to read and interpret technical diagrams.
• Knowledge of HVAC electrical systems and controls.
• Valid driver's license.

Responsibilities

• Perform routine preventive maintenance on HVAC units, including cleaning, inspection, and component replacement.
• Diagnose and repair electrical, mechanical, and refrigerant system issues.
• Troubleshoot faults in HVAC controls, sensors, and automation systems.
• Ensure all work complies with relevant codes, standards, and safety regulations.
• Handle and recover refrigerants per environmental guidelines.
• Maintain accurate service records, logs, and documentation.
• Communicate findings and recommendations to clients and team.
